Shopping For Small Refrigerators

December 28th, 2009

Refrigerators are important home appliances. But their size can sometimes make it difficult to place them in a room, especially if you have small living areas such as those found in dorms, offices or apartments. Thankfully, it is possible to buy small refrigerators that are not only cheaper than standard models but also save a lot of space. Not only that, they are also easy to carry and move if you plan on switching living arrangements at regular times.

Small fridges can vary in size. Some come with freezers and ice trays, while others just keep items cool. Most of these types of fridges are limited in what they can contain and how much food they can keep cold. However, some of the higher priced models can be just as powerful as standard sized refrigerators.

When looking at small refrigerators it is important that you measure the area where you will store the fridge. That way you won’t buy a refrigerator which is too big or to small. You also should consider your needs when looking at the various features. Some fridges have temperature controls, freezers and different style doors that may suit your room.

You can buy small refrigerators from most large department stores or white goods retailers. Such places often have sales several times throughout the year so you can occasionally find some excellent deals. If this fails, it is possible to find good quality models at various second-hand retailers. Prices for models can vary from under $100 for second hand models to over $500 for the better brands.

Small Refrigerator For Sale

December 9th, 2009

So, you’re in the market to find a small refrigerator? That’s great and with so many places to look for one, I know why it can be hard to find one for the right price. Today, I want to give you some tips on how you can find the perfect fridge for your dorm room, your home, or anywhere else you may want to put it. As long as you apply these tips, you should be able to find one for a very reasonable price.

Check out the used ones first: Used is always the best when it comes to price. Since many things in life lose their value fast, I would check out the used section of either your paper, the bulletin board at your college, or Craigslist online. There are so many used classified sites online; it shouldn’t be hard to find one for 50-75% off.

Always price compare: Whenever I buy something in life, I always make sure that I check out at least 5 different stores before I make my purchase. Thankfully with the internet, I’m able to get all the prices I want online. I will then find the cheapest place and see if I can get cheaper in the store or online.

A small refrigerator is great for those that are looking to take up less space and still want to keep things cool. With the economy the way it is today, I don’t blame you for wanting to find a cheaper price. Try some of the strategies above and see if you can save money on your next purchase.
